Sarah Malin

Sarah Malin is a student at York University, pursuing an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in Human Rights & Equity Studies and Law & Society. She brings diverse experience across law, government, and community development, all aimed at fostering a more equitable society. Sarah has contributed as a Councillor Aide for Deputy Mayor Ausma Malik, actively participating in community outreach and supporting the coordination of local events. She has also worked as a Policy and Programs Assistant at the Ministry of Children, Community, and Social Services. Most recently, Sarah completed an internship at Dentons Canada LLP, where she gained valuable insights into the legal sector.

Sarah is also deeply involved in her community, serving as the EDI Coordinator for Good Neighbours Canada’s Youth Advisory Committee and volunteering with her local MP, Ahmed Hussen, and the Toronto International Film Festival.
