Our Impact in Numbers

2.5 M Community touchpoints

6.5+ M Online impressions

Our social media earned over 1.5 million impressions during events and activities. Visit My Mosque in had over 5.5 million reach Canada-wide. And our platforms have increased by over 400% since the beginning of 2018.

5000 Homes visited & connected with over 100,000 people

Our dedicated volunteers went door-to-door to promote our message during the 2015 Federal and 2018 Ontario and Quebec Elections. We also set up call banks and automated dialers across provinces to remind and encourage people to Get Out And Vote.

5000+ Guests hosted at our annual community Eid dinners

Our flagship Eid Dinner where over 60 elected officials and party leaders join us for a meal celebrating the end of the holy month of Ramadan. This event helps combat the myths and misconceptions many politicians might have about the Muslim community. We’ve had over 5000 guests and 300 Elected Officials attend our dinners.

In 2023, TCMV established the Civic Leadership Institute to address the underrepresentation of Canadian-Muslims in politics. Our institute encompasses a diverse range of programs and initiatives designed to equip and empower emerging leaders with the skills and knowledge needed to represent the Muslim community in the political landscape.

Civic Leadership

Through thought-provoking case studies, interactive workshops, and insightful conversations with seasoned political experts, policymakers, and politicians, we provided fellows with a comprehensive understanding of the Canadian political process from start to finish.

Fellowship

TCMV has led five successful GOTV campaigns, including three federal and two Ontario provincial elections, empowering Muslim voters to make informed decisions. Through party platform summaries, political interviews, voter education, and community engagement, we reinforce the importance of every voice in shaping Canada’s democracy.
