Where Change Begins: The TCMV Fellowship

The Canadian Muslim Vote Fellowship is more than a program—it’s a movement empowering the next generation of Muslim leaders to claim their place in Canadian civic life. Launched through the Civic Leadership Institute, this transformative initiative equips young Muslim professionals with the tools, training, and mentorship they need to engage meaningfully in politics and public service. From campaign strategy to policy-making, fellows gain practical experience while building a powerful network of changemakers ready to leave a lasting impact.

Now active in Toronto, Ottawa, and Vancouver, the Fellowship has quickly become a cornerstone of TCMV’s work. Fellows participate in dynamic workshops covering topics like Canadian Politics 101, Public Policy, Islam & Politics, Community Organizing, and Campaign Management. They also engage in immersive simulations, such as our signature Party Simulation exercise, where they step into the roles of political party leaders and navigate real-world challenges. The program also features exclusive access to inspiring guest speakers—like MP Sarah Jama, CBC Commentator Vandana Kattar, and Adam Ibrahim—who share insights and mentorship to help fellows navigate the path to public leadership.
