
Aishah Salim
Aishah Salim is a second-year student at the University of Ottawa. She is a dedicated advocate with a commitment to community and social justice. Her leadership experience includes serving as President of both the Black Students Association and the Muslim Student Association, and she is currently the Director of Equity and Inclusivity for the University of Ottawa’s Black Student Leadership Association, where she champions initiatives to promote diversity and inclusion. In addition to her academic and political roles, Aishah has contributed to anti-gun violence initiatives and worked with student focus groups to drive improvements in the education system. In addition, she uses spoken word to advocate for social change. Her unwavering dedication to community service and dynamic leadership continue to make a significant impact across her various roles.
