
Alina Saad
Alina is a 4th year undergraduate student at McMaster University, pursuing a degree in “Psychology, Neuroscience and Behaviour”. She is passionate about public health, and aspires to improve Canada’s healthcare system.
Alina’s commitment for health and wellness drives her efforts to promote healthy living at university and in her community. She serves as an event planning lead and treasurer for McMaster Open Circle, a club focused on mindfulness, mental health, and fostering resilient communities. She also volunteers with her campus food bank, to combat local food insecurity and provide nutritious food for vulnerable populations. Outside of university, Alina volunteers with an inpatient unit at Credit Valley Hospital, and also leads weekly programming for a Muslim youth Scouts group.
Beyond extracurriculars and volunteering, Alina enjoys going on nature walks, painting, reading, and playing with her pet cats.
