
Asma Muhammed
Asma is a high school student pursuing the International Baccalaureate Diploma and Ontario High School Diploma with a passion for human rights activism and entrepreneurship. At a young age, she was forced to leave her home country due to genocide, losing contact with her family back home, which sparked her passion for activism. Since a young age, she has been actively organizing protests and raising awareness about human rights issues. As an athlete in kickboxing, rugby, and basketball, Asma brings determination and teamwork to all her endeavors. She also works as an event coordinator for non-profits and charities, organizing receptions for parliamentarians and other orgs. Asma volunteers with organizations such as ICNA, ISNA, BeingMe, Darman Foundation, and Ottawa Uyghur Centre, demonstrating her commitment to human rights. As a model parliament participant, she has gained valuable experience in public speaking and group management, which she plans to apply in her future endeavors.
Outside of school and work, Asma enjoys reading, painting, and continuing her athletic pursuits. She is excited about the opportunities ahead and is dedicated to making a positive impact on society
