
Juvairiyya Hanslod
Juvairiyya is a recent graduate from the Munk School at the University of Toronto with a Master’s of Public Policy. She holds an Honours Undergraduate degree from York University, majoring in Political Science and Human Rights & Equity Studies. Juvairiyya specialized in community development and wrote an Honours Thesis which highlighted the importance of creating equitable outcomes through co-development with communities. Currently, Juvairiyya supports the Social Development Policy team at the Privy Council Office. Prior to this, she worked at the Privy Council Office on the Clerks Call to Action on Anti-racism, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion in the Federal Public Service to cultivate a more inclusive Public Service and to combat systemic barriers in the workplace. In her spare time, she enjoys watching the Blue Jays and taking care of her 30+ houseplants.
