
Maheerah Anwar
Maheerah is student at UTSC pursuing a double major in economics and international development. As a University Community Partnership assistant at UTSC, she is working with Scarborough Studies to create and coordinate zine workshops for staff and students. The workshops aim to spark critical discussions about the narrative of Scarborough. She has been regularly tutoring high school students in math and science for the past two years. She is also actively involved in the Venture for Canada Intrapreneurship program where she worked with the Antarctic Institute of Canada as a writer, contributing with a paper about cyberbullying.
