Manal Siddiqui

Manal’s interest in technology was sparked when she pitched her startup idea at 15 years of age. Manal is currently the Communication, Engagement, and Events Manager at Space Canada. She has gained valuable experience in the space industry owing to her internships across a wide range of companies, such as Mission Control and SkyWatch, with her latest internship being in San Francisco at Planet Labs as a Flight Software Intern. Manal is currently in her final year of her undergraduate degree, majoring in Computer Science with a minor in Business, concentrated in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning at Carleton University. She was also one of the ten individuals selected to be a Zenith Fellow (Class of 2022) with a growing passion to support tech development and find creative solutions to solve challenges. Manal envisions a brighter and more inclusive space for Canadian women within the Space Industry in the coming years.
