
Mujtaba Tariq
Mujtaba Tariq is a dedicated third-year Criminology student at Simon Fraser University with a passion for justice and community service. With a long-term goal of becoming a Criminal Lawyer, Mujtaba has developed a strong foundation in legal studies and criminological theories. He is actively involved in co-authoring a chapter on Law for Dr. Faisal Khosa’s book project titled Equity, Diversity & Inclusion: Sisyphean Undertaking to an Achievable Reality. Additionally, Mujtaba contributes to The Citizens Foundation (TCF), a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising funds for schools in Pakistan. He has played a significant role in fundraising at the annual TCF Fundraising Gala, supporting TCF Canada’s mission to provide educational opportunities to underprivileged children and build a network of supporters and volunteers nationwide. His commitment to equity and inclusion, academic pursuits, and community involvement, position him as a promising future leader in the legal field.
