Muna Derie

Muna is currently a 4th year student at the University of Ottawa pursuing an honours bachelor of health sciences. Muna currently works at a non profit as a web communications manager. She is also an undergraduate research assistant and a volunteer with Newcomer Health Connect, an organization with a mission to connect newcomers with family doctors. Through her work and volunteer experience, Muna hopes to advocate for better health outcomes for all. Muna is interested in public health and health policy and is always open to chat about the intersection of health and politics!
