Wajid Zaman

Wajid is a student at the University of Ottawa in his final year of pursuing a joint honours in economics and political science and a junior research analyst in the International Security Bureau at Global Affairs Canada. Apart from his educational and professional pursuits, he has volunteered extensively in his community by being a part of political campaigns, student governments, dawah and other Islamic initiatives, and other clubs and organizations. His most important extracurricular role, however (other than the fellowship, of course) is being the Secretary General of the 2025 Capital Model United Nations Conference. Through the fellowship, as well as his education, career, and extracurricular activities, Wajid seeks to have a career in international relations, economics, and/or security.
