Launched the Civic Leadership Institute

In 2023, The Canadian-Muslim Vote (TCMV) launched the Civic Leadership Institute (CLI) to empower Canadian Muslims in politics and civic engagement through three key streams: the Fellowship Program, the TCMV Library, and the Little League. The Fellowship Program provides hands-on training, mentorship, and networking opportunities for aspiring political staffers and policymakers, equipping them with the skills to navigate government and advocacy roles. The TCMV Library serves as an online repository of educational resources, offering guides and toolkits to help Muslims engage in politics, whether by voting, volunteering, or running for office. Meanwhile, the Little League targets youth aged 13 to 17, introducing them to civic engagement through interactive activities, competitions, and school partnerships to develop leadership skills early on. Together, these three streams aim to foster a politically engaged and empowered Muslim community in Canada.
