TCMV: Engaging The Youth

The Canadian Muslim Vote believes that civic engagement starts young—and in 2024, our Little League program took big steps to make that belief a reality. Through partnerships with schools and hands-on workshops, Little League introduced children and early teens to the foundational ideas of social responsibility, leadership, and political awareness. One of the year’s highlights was a session led by Executive Director Umair Ashraf, where students explored key topics like social entrepreneurship and civic engagement.

Programs like Little League are a vital part of TCMV’s long-term vision—cultivating a culture of civic participation that starts early and stays strong. By planting the seeds of political literacy and community awareness in youth today, we’re building a more informed, inclusive, and empowered Canada for tomorrow.
